While on staff, I enjoyed teaching sailing, riflery, and archery.  Generally, I was allowed to teach these subjects almost exclusively.   However, on occasion, I would fill in for a staff member who was out or tied up doing something else.   I have a particularly haunting memory of teaching an "Arts and Crafts" class.   I have a strong desire to track down each of those Campers and hand deliver a letter of apology.   We spent an entire week painting rocks which I told them were 'decorative paper weights'.  🙄
